Venturefest is a free two-day conference, taking place on the 30th of June and the 1st of July, open to all, celebrating enterprise and innovation and promoting the commercialisation of new technology.

This is now Venturefest's Tenth year and The Oxford Trust will play a significant role.

The Trust is hosting the following events over the two days:

• The Venturefest Apprentice Launch - The Oxford Trust will be searching for the Venturefest Apprentice 2008. Six Year 12 Business Studies, Science, and Technology students will take part in a two-day challenge at Venturefest. The winner will be announced during Venturefest and will recieve £1000 and a four week placement with an Oxfordshire high technology company over the Summer.

• Technology Showcase Exhibition - The aim of the Technology Showcase Exhibition is to show that the Oxfordshire science and technology Cluster is of national importance and develops commercial applications to new developments; and there is no better way to express this than with a demonstration!
