Corporate Profile
GroupSpaces is an Oxford-based start-up that is revolutionising the way 'real world' groups manage themselves in an increasingly online world. Initially aimed at university societies, sports clubs and other common interest groups, GroupSpaces' online tools have been developed with the benefit of input from 300 Oxford University societies who participated in a successful pilot programme in 2006-7.

The quality and frequency of use of the University service enabled the company to secure advertising contracts with over 40 blue chip clients including IBM, BP, McKinsey & Company, Bain Capital, Clifford Chance and JPMorgan. The GroupSpaces team is now developing a scalable online toolset to meet the needs of millions of groups, societies and clubs worldwide.

GroupSpaces was founded in October 2006 by a team of Oxford University students and graduates, and has received funding in 2008 from a syndicate of experienced Angel Investors including Avonmore Developments.

GroupSpaces.com
GroupSpaces is developing an integrated online toolset for 'real world' group management and communication which can be customised to fit in with any group's existing conventions. The GroupSpaces toolset supports the needs of any group, society or club: communication channels, membership and database management, website provision and event organisation.

By meeting the needs of groups online with a unique suite of integrated tools, GroupSpaces helps to establish efficient, lasting procedures which facilitate continuity and collaboration between group members, managers and the wider world.
