Cozart is a medical diagnostics company which develops, manufactures and sells immunodiagnostic tests, predominantly for the detection of drugs of abuse. Cozart's products include laboratory based testing kits (elisa) for the detection of drugs in a variety of biological samples and various point of care tests including the CozartŪ RapiScan system, a portable device used for the on-site testing of drugs of abuse in saliva (oral fluid) samples. Cozart also offers its customers a laboratory analysis service to detect drugs of abuse in a variety of sample types.

| Cozart was set up in 1993 by two of the Company's current Directors, Dr. Christopher Hand and Philip Hand to develop, manufacture and market a range of medical diagnostic test kits and reagents for the detection of drugs and other analytes. Cozart's core business since formation has been the manufacture of immunodiagnostic reagents and consumable test kits for forensic and clinical applications and the development of new technologies to capitalise on opportunities within the diagnostics market. On 26th July 2004 Cozart floated on the AIM London stock exchange. |
