Bletchley Park is a stimulating environment known historically for intellectual and technological innovation. It is now a heritage site run by a charitable Trust with historical buildings, exhibitions, a technology incubation centre, educational activities, tours for visitors and special events. The Bletchley Park education programme aims to build on the innovative work of the code breakers and inspire the next generation of problem solvers. Facets of the programme include special events for schools, teacher training activities, school visits, a school and public outreach programme and the development of stimulating teaching and learning resources. The park is now closed to the general public for the Winter and will open again on the 1st April 2006. |
