Launched by Lord Sainsbury in 1999, OBN is now a financially self-sustainable network which raises 95% of its operating costs from private sources and operational activity. In the past 18 months, OBN has delivered over 25 meetings, attracting nearly 1700 delegates, notably its trademark BioTuesday biotech business networking evenings. OBN's annual biopartnering meeting, 'BioTrinity', is the UK's leading biotechnlogy networking conference offering delegates the chance to participate in up to 35 one-to-one meetings with other companies over two days, using large private partnering rooms as standard with over 300 companies expected to attend in April 15-16 2008.
