Charles Russell acts on Sale of Groupe Rubicon Limited
Charles Russell has recently advised the sellers on the sale of Groupe Rubicon Limited to listed company A.G. Barr plc (for a total initial cash consideration of £59.8 million).
The Rubicon Group is a UK based manufacturer and distributor of branded exotic juice drinks, primarily sold in the UK. The Acquisition excluded the brand rights outside the European Union other than certain neighbouring states including the Russian Federation. Simultaneous to the Acquisition, Barr also acquired the freehold of the current production facility used by Rubicon for a consideration of approximately £1.25 million.
The team was led by Peter Elliott, assisted by Will Axtell, working with Hilary Aldred, Carly Arthur, Lisa Bearpark, Robin Bynoe, Hamish Corner, Julia Drell, Andrew Ingram, Stephen Moore, Eleanor Newton, Caoimhe O'Neill, Hamish Perry, Duleep Shani, Glafkos Tombolis, Peter Young and supported by a number of others within the practice.
