Primary Science Quality Mark Award
The Primary Science Quality Mark Award pilot scheme was launched recently at the Science Learning Centre East of England. The award scheme will build on the successful model of Artsmark and Sportsmark, offering schools the opportunity and framework to develop and celebrate a school wide commitment to excellent science teaching and learning.The ASE are now half way through the pilot project and have received over 200 enquiries from teachers, LA advisors, schools and others, interested in being part of the national roll out. Anyone keen to access the pilot materials needs to log on to the Science Learning Centre Portal and register themselves at www.sciencelearningcentres.org.uk. Then send (via email) their username and email address to Sarah Taylor at sarahtaylor@ase.org.uk. The ASE will then enable them to access the community and will let them know when the national roll out commences.
