GENERAL SUMMARY PAGE
The Oxford Trust works to stimulate and facilitate public engagement with science in Oxfordshire by:
- Organising and hosting a wide range of events and exhibitions at Science Oxford and around the county
- Providing up to date information about science events and initiatives run by other local and national organisations
- Trying out innovative ways to generate discussion about contemporary science issues
- Running an extensive Family Science Programme at HandS-On and with partners around the county
- Encouraging and training scientists from industry and research to communicate with the public
- Co-ordinating the annual Oxfordshire Festival of Science
- Working with a range of partners to make science and enterprise an integral part of the cultural map of Oxfordshire
