When Should Research Stop? with Professor Colin Blakemore

How can we prioritise the funding of research in different fields? Are there moral lines that research should never be allowed to cross? Does there come a point when research in a particular field should stop simply because we decide that we know enough and it is not worth the investment to know more?

Professor Colin Blakemore from Oxford University will introduce the issues and the audience will be invited to examine whether we should place ethical limitations on research.
