Science and Technology Workshops

The Oxford Trust is launching a new series of free workshops using digital technologies to explore biomedical science.

Give your students the opportunity to attend and use digital technologies to create either animated films or audio podcasts exploring biomedical science topics of their choice.

The students will:

Learn about the digital technology and the processes involved in creating either the animated film or audio podcast.
Gain an understanding of the issues involved in biomedical science.
Develop their creativity.
Work as part of a team.

The workshops will be:

Held at Science Oxford.
During the autumn term starting in mid September.
In 10 weekly sessions of 2 hours.

The precise timings of these workshops can be negotiated once schools have registered for the workshops. It may be that the workshops are used as an option for students during their electives/extra-curricular periods in the school day.

The workshops are open to Year 10-13.
Each workshop can accommodate 12 students.
The workshops will be free of charge.
