Peer Mentoring
In late 2006 we pioneered a new programme called Peer Mentoring. The basis of this programme is for small groups of technology company managers to meet on a monthly basis. Through a facilitated session they discuss issues affecting their businesses. Peer mentoring has been very successful and we have had a huge amount of positive feedback. It has become a very effective informal source of advice and support for busy managers.

Experience Exchange
At Venturefest in 2007 we launched our Experience Exchange programme. We had a set of 25 mentors and ran a series of 10-minute, one-to-one introductions that are scheduled to give guaranteed, focused time between companies and potential mentors. The aim of the event is to kick-start non-executive or mentoring relationships.

Technology Showcase
Over the past couple of years we have exhibited a Technology Showcase at Venturefest. The format has varied slightly however the same principles apply – we provide our members with the chance to raise their profile by exhibiting the technologies they have developed. We have anything from six to twenty plus companies exhibiting.
