The Oxford Trust carries out a number of activities for business which can be grouped under the following five themes.
Raising awareness of the technology sector’s success stories
It is very important to share success stories among peers; after all, successes drive the technology sector forward. We raise awareness in two main ways, organising exciting events that attract large audiences and communicating successes in magazine articles. Recently we have had a huge amount of positive feedback from our work with ‘Enterprising Oxfordshire’ and our Great Entrepreneurs events. Keeping in touch with the latest sector news
Here at The Oxford Trust we are proactive; we search our members' websites and other relevant sites daily to collect the most up-to-date business news. The news is always available on our website and in addition, we then deliver this news to you directly in our weekly news letter that reaches over 900 people. Sign up for our newsletter here.
Providing practical information
The Trust Innovation team brings together a wealth of experience in helping technology businesses grow. We actively investigate the latest available information on grants, support, research and contacts that technology businesses in Oxfordshire need at every stage of their growth. Building Networks
We believe that to build a successful business it is vital to communicate with your peers. The Oxford Trust enthusiastically encourages business networking, as it is one of the most effective and successful methods of generating new business, a source of help and advice and sharing knowledge.
