The Venturefest Apprentice
Students will take part in a number of challenges for the chance to win £1000 and a placement at a high-tech company over the summer holidays.
Based on BBC’s ‘The Apprentice’, there are a number of rounds, and only those who are motivated, confident and willing to take the initiative will get through to the final.
First round: Application form - Top 25 students chosen
Second round: Enterprise Challenge Day - 25 attend, the top 6 go through to the final at Venturefest
Third round: Venturefest Day 1: Company visit and presentation - 6 attend, top two are chosen to the lead teams on the last day
Fourth round: Venturefest Day 2: VF Challenge - Two teams, led by winners from Day 1, one overall winner chosen
Students applying must be available for the Enterprise day, and the two days of Venturefest:
Enterprise Day: Wednesday 11 June, 9.30 - 16.00, Science Oxford OX4 1BD
Venturefest: Monday 30 June and Tuesday 1 July, 9.30 - 16.00, Unipart OX4 6LN

The first prize placement will be 2 weeks at Nominet, the domain name operator http://www.nominet.org.uk/.
